Book review: Harry Potter And The Sorcerer's Stone

Book Review: Harry Potter And The Sorcerer's stone.
 Author: J.K. Rowling
 Rating: 10/10
Warning: Some violence, other than that, amazing  book.
 Fiction

Harry Potter is a 14 year old orphan living with his Uncle Vernon and Aunt Petuina, and their snobby son Dudley. Harry has lived with them ever since his parents died in a "car crash" many years ago, so says the Dursley's. Harry sleeps in a little tucked away room underneath the staircase. Harry is usually forced to sit in his little room all day and not to disturb the Dursley's at all. The Dursley's love their son Dudley, they over feed him like there is no tomorrow. As for Harry, he gets the bits and scraps left over from the Dursley's. All Harry wants is a normal life and to be happy. One day a letter arived for Mr. H Potter! Harry was ecstatic, he couldn't believe something had come for him. Mr. Dursley's did not like that Harry got a letter, so he grabbed it and threw it into the fire. Harry was livid. That letter belonged to him, not uncle Vernon. There was nothing Harry could do about it now, that letter was long gone. To his surprise another letter came. Once again uncle Vernon took it and ruined it. It came to a point when the letters never stopped, Vernon didn't know what to do anymore! He tried and tried until finally they had leave. Still more came but this certain time a person came with the letter. His name was Hagrid, and he was there to give Harry some very exciting news. Harry would be attending a very amazing and wonderful school, named "Hogwarts." That is the school his parents had attended. Harry has no idea what is in store for him this school year at Hogwarts!
Finally Harry gets to be free from the Dursley's and do something for himself! Harry and Hagrid go shopping for all of Harry's supplies for school. Harry gets in on some family secrets that he had no idea about, and comes to realize that there are a lot of people who know of him and consider him very famous.
I gave this book a rating of 10/10 because it was so good. I felt like when I was reading the book I was at Hogwarts. Rowling has a very good way of sucking you into her books and never wanting to set them down.

Had many people recommend this book to me. I strongly recommend this book to anyone who is looking for an adventurous story, and a little magic!
